Tricolor by Maria & Amaya is a small business that originated on the northeast coast of Florida. Founded in 2012, they have produced handcrafted jewelry designs for all styles and genders, inspired by diverse cultures. Some of their pieces even incorporate vintage elements. In 2015, they relocated to Brooklyn, NY, and began expanding their accessories line. After the pandemic, Maria and Amaya increased their production and designs, participating in pop-up markets and other events.

Ninety-five percent of Tricolor's jewelry and accessories are designed and handcrafted using natural materials such as stones, crystals, pearls, and plants. They utilize metals like gold-filled, 925 sterling silver, brass, and copper, and also work with resin. Some pieces are made from recycled materials and incorporate crochet and beadwork techniques. And 5 percent are sourced from materials to match their handmade and designed products.
